Therapy

Welcome, I'm Gargi!

Therapy offers a rare and meaningful space—one where you are invited to show up fully, without judgment or expectation. I view the therapeutic process as collaborative: together, we explore not only the painful or confusing aspects of life, but also the inner strengths, resilience, and wisdom that are often waiting to be rediscovered.

I work with adolescents, adults, and couples navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship dynamics, identity exploration, and disordered behaviors. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, grounded in attachment and relational theories, and tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.

In our work together, I draw from a variety of evidence-based and somatic practices—including EMDR and Brainspotting—to support emotional regulation, healing from trauma, and deeper self-understanding. I believe that when we explore the experiences—both overt and subtle—that shape our inner world, we gain the clarity and capacity to make empowered, intentional choices. Healing begins within, and as we grow in connection with ourselves, that healing naturally extends outward—into our relationships, communities, and lives.

About Me

I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), where I was immersed in a holistic and integrative learning environment that emphasized the mind-body connection and the healing power of presence. My clinical training began at Pierce Street Integral Counseling Center, where I developed a strong foundation in psychodynamic and relational approaches. I further expanded my experience through school-based work with adolescents at Mission High School in partnership with RAMS.

As a woman of color and clinician, my lived experience deeply informs how I understand identity, belonging, and the complexity of navigating multiple cultural worlds. I hold space for these nuances with cultural humility and curiosity, and I am attuned to the layered impact of systemic and intergenerational trauma.

I’m guided by a deep belief that healing is a lifelong, relational, and inward journey—one that requires compassion, presence, and intention. It is a privilege to walk alongside clients as they reconnect with themselves, deepen their relationships, and move toward a more grounded, authentic life.
